The lust for something special is in all of us. I don't know too many "car guys" who are satisfied with stock.
Most of us are even happy with that RE-Amemiya kit, but some wan't more unique.
I can't help thinking how amazing this car would be lower, so I added some "Stance by RE-Xtreme"
Any wingless FD on the circuit is a handful. Even with quality Bridgestones on duty.
But the enjoyment comes from just playing in the car.
Here is Ken Amemiya checking out the car. It does get attention and has done so for quite a while.
Here are a closer look at the curves that reminded me of something I saw at my first 7's day in 2002 .
It's great to see the car has't changed in many years. It means it has stood the test of time.
Aside from the splitter and new Advan RS wheels, not much else has changed. The drag wing has gone and the addition of the One's 1t sticker resembles the move from the previously Okada Engineering that created the car.
A little flash back for you from Fuji Speed Way 7's day 7/7/2002. It seems some are only learning now, what was cool so long ago. Japan has already moved on.
