RE-Amemiya and SGC have had a strong relationship for a few years. It came from Super GT but extended to Drift.
This is the second D1 car transformed into the M7 Replica (note blue interior) that now wears Singapore Changi Motorsports complex livery. D1 & Imamura actually run these colors since the black FD was retired.
Since my rendering of a possible
Rauh-Welt FD3s with Porsche frontal styling I've been a bit fascinated with this beast.
The reason being these front fenders would be required to accommodate any massive wheel combo.
The drift machine uses the AC037 body kit + these fender extensions as the relatively low offset wheels are fitted with crazy drift knuckles and lower arms that really widen the track a lot. Steering is also effected for quick response at maximum angle.
At the rear, the curves continue to form something ....
Sexier?
Yes, definitely!
The SGC girls are quite the distraction.
Sometimes that's a good thing, because the rear of the D1 cars really aren't good.
at least the horrendous rear centre exhaust housing has been cut away for tyre smoke to exit.
These cars produced by RE-Amemiya are polarizing designs that express the wild image that is D1.
Details are everywhere on this car as you would expect. Built to Drift.
